You need JavaScript enabled to view it., CPC #894 . . .Illustrated first day cover of one of the 1995 secular Christmas series featuring the Victorian and Edwardian Christmas eras showing children sledding. The cover had an enlargement of the stamp as its cachet in the form of a seal (sticker). Tom relates the story of this cover and how this series of stamps came to be;  answering the question "Which came first, the seal or the stamp?"

Richard illustrates and describes two interesting Christmas covers that have a lot going on, both front and back in the way of postal markings. The first cover with a single 1965 Christmas stamp appears to have travelled all over the western United States. The second cover from Togo has five copies of one of the 1975 (Scott #921) Christmas stamps plus two non-Christmas issues and has an interesting array of hand postmarks showing its journey from Badou to Chicago.
